FAQ for Round Button Maker- Model No.108
Q: How to avoid badge crimping defects—not sealed or edges lifting
A: 1. When pressing the backing material for the second time, firmly hold both upper and lower handles to ensure a tight seal.
2. Check if the mold is installed correctly to ensure proper alignment.
3. Use only one layer of plastic film—multiple layers may cause sealing defects.
4. Thick cardboard or rigid materials won't crimp properly in the machine.
5. The paper and polyester film must perfectly fit the mold dimensions—any overhang or misalignment can cause sealing issues.
Recommended Papers:
- Regular cardstock (under 60lb/160 gsm). Glossy, matte, vellum, textures, glitter, indescent cardstock is not recommended.
- 30Ib/115gsm double-side glossy photo paper; 37Ib/135gsm single side glossy photo paper.
- Regular printer paper (no more than 60 lb). Thick cardboard or rigid materials won't crimp properly in the machine.
